Honor Fountain City Day Award Nominations

Fountain City Town Hall is taking nominations for awards to be given on Honor Fountain City Day in the Park.

Individuals can make nominations for any or all of the categories below. (Nominations may be made all at once, or by returning to this page at a later time.)

This year’s nomination deadline is April 1, 2026.

COMMERCIAL RESTORATION

This award is given to any Fountain City business owner or corporation who has recently renovated or reused a property and thus enhanced a neighborhood by conveying a sense of community, preserving the past, or beautifying Fountain City.

RESIDENTIAL RESTORATION

This award is given to a private home owner within Fountain City whose rehabilitation, renovation, or preservation of their residence has added to the community. This award is not limited to historic properties older than 50 years of age but any property that is well maintained.

RESIDENTIAL LANDSCAPING

This award is given to a private home owner within Fountain City whose garden or yard beautifies the area through landscaping or plantings.

PERSON OF THE YEAR

This award is given to an adult resident of Fountain City, or an adult that works in Fountain City and/or owns a business in Fountain City who exemplifies the spirit of the community through dedicated long-term service to individuals and the community.

FRIEND OF FOUNTAIN CITY

This award is for an individual residing outside of Fountain City who has gone above and beyond to help Fountain City enhance and / or improve the evolution of the community.

YOUTH OF THE YEAR

Must be a student under 21 and exhibit exemplary qualities of good conduct. Nominee must have gained respect from their peers as well as educators, and is expected to be involved with extracurricular activities within their community and school.
